Privacy Policy

Dinner Handled helps you decide what to cook from groceries you already have. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Apple shares an account identifier and, the first time, an email address. If you sign in with email, we receive that email address. We do not receive your Apple password.
- Grocery content you add. Item names, categories, amounts, meal records, and the recipes you choose to cook.
- Photos you choose to submit. Photos of shopping lists, receipts, labels, or ingredients are sent for recognition when you tap to analyze them.
- Barcodes. A scanned barcode number is sent to look up product information.
How photos are handled
Photos are sent to our backend and then to a vision model provider solely to turn the image into a list of food items. We do not store your photos after the request completes. Please avoid including faces, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in a photo; crop or retake if needed.
How we use information
- To build your weekly baseline of groceries and show still-have / running-low groupings.
- To suggest recipes using only items you have confirmed.
- To keep a history of meals you have logged.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Photos and item lists may be processed by a third-party AI model provider acting on our behalf. Barcode lookups may query Open Food Facts, an open product database. These providers receive only what is needed for the request.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
- We do not use your photos to train models.
Retention and deletion
Your account content is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual items and meal records in the app. To delete your account and associated data, email support@wulawula.com from the address associated with your account; we will process the request within 30 days.
Children
Dinner Handled is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access rules that limit each account to its own rows. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
